Meet Chelsea
Hello, Dog Parents!
I'm Chelsea Morgan, owner and trainer of Paws in Solitude Separation Anxiety Dog Training, and I'm here to help you achieve alone time success with your dog. My goal is to help your dog feel safe in solitude and to help you take back your freedom.
I began my journey in dog behavior by graduating with distinction from Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Trainers (VSA-CDT). To further my education, I continuously study ethology, learning theory, dog body language, various dog training techniques, as well as human communication. After several years of working with dogs and their humans, I became interested in separation anxiety and isolation distress. I soon graduated from Malena DeMartini's Certified Separation Anxiety program (CSAT). Over the years, I have also attended many webinars hosted by top professionals in the field of dog behavior and training.
Everything I know and where I am today would not be possible without my dog, Charlie, who tragically passed away from cancer in June 2023. Charlie's anxiety around other dogs led me to want to learn how to help him feel safe, and eventually, to help other dog parents too. He was the greatest teacher I could have ever asked for. My learning never ends, however, as I now have an adolescent dog, Oliver, who is teaching me new things every day.
As your separation anxiety trainer, I promise to give my unwavering support and guidance throughout your journey, to be your cheerleader through small and big wins, and a source of comfort and hope during the challenging moments. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you.
